On reflection of my entire project (from research to evaluation), I think that the technologies I used throughout have been very useful. Firstly, I think the use of online softwares such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop have proved extremely useful. The use of Premiere Pro, for example, was very effective throughout editing because it allowed me to edit to a quick and concise pace throughout the music video. To me, this was an integral part of video that made it very engaging and interesting for the intended audience. Furthermore, the use of Photoshop has allowed me to also implement an element of creativity into my digipak and digipak poster. Most importantly, I have used the softwares provided with good effect to make my ancillary tasks similar to other products of this genre. It needed to link well with the music video and also having a running theme throughout the two products. Photoshop allowed me to do this relatively easily with the use of the same background colours through use of the colour sample tool. In use of this, my final products are easily identifiable as my band's own products.
Moreover, the use of hardware equipment such as steadicam and Lumix GH4 is large factor to why I was happy with the final product of the video. Both pieces of equipment allowed the project to reach the standards I had desired right from the beginning of planning and so this was very pleasing.
On reflection, technologies I used throughout the research, planning and construction of my products have been invaluable. Without being able to use these, all three of my products would have struggled to reach the standard they did. As a result, I am very appreciative of the tools and equipment available for use throughout the entirety of my project.
